ORAL EXAM
You should see your dentist every six months for an oral exam to ensure continued health of your teeth and gums.
DIGITAL X-RAYS
Also known as dental radiographs, dental X-rays use controlled pulses of radiation to create images of the internal structures of the jaw and mouth. They can find and image cavities, bone or gum loss, periodontal disease, benign or malignant tumors, and other normal or abnormal structures within the lower portion of the head.
TEETH CLEANING
For patients with healthy teeth and gums, and even in those who have the earliest signs of gingivitis, a teeth cleaning usually involves three simple steps: Scaling, Polishing and Fluoride. This should be done every six months for good hygiene care.
PORCELAIN CROWNS
Dental crowns, also called caps, fit over worn or damaged teeth. They can also serve a cosmetic purpose, restoring a discolored tooth to its former hue.
BRIDGES
A dental bridge spans the gap where a missing tooth once was, filling the space with a synthetic tooth.
Cosmetic Dental Procedures
VEENEERS
Thin pieces of porcelain placed over the top of a tooth that is chipped or discolored. Most veneers are just a few millimeters thick. They are also mostly translucent, so they reflect the light in a way that closely mimics natural teeth.
TEETH WHITENING
Teeth whitening involves a chemical reaction that penetrates the enamel of the teeth to bleach stains below the surface. We make a tray to match the exact shape of your teeth so no bleaching of the gums occur. Within weeks your teeth are lighter and brighter.
BONDING
To fill in a small gap between two teeth
To repair decayed teeth by filling a cavity with tooth-colored resin
To change the shape of a tooth
To repair chips or cracks in teeth
To cover up discoloration
To protect the root of a tooth after it’s been exposed by receding gums
To make a tooth look larger than it is, which is usually done to make it match the other teeth

ROOT CANALS
Your enamel normally protects your teeth, but any major breach in it could necessitate a root canal. Teeth affected by advanced tooth decay or large cavities may need a root canal before any other restoration can take place.
Some symptoms indicate that you may need a root canal
Frequent tooth and gum pain
A large visible cavity that compromises the integrity of the tooth
- Extreme sensitivity to heat, cold and pressure
- A foul taste or odor near the afflicted tooth even after brushing your teeth
- Pus that drains into your mouth
- Swollen lymph nodes in your neck and jaw near the affected tooth
EXTRACTIONS
The removal of teeth either due to decay or the displacement of other teeth.
DENTURES
A type of prosthesis used to accommodate missing teeth.
